About 'Rodge around the world'

This site describes the trip around the world of Roger Peeters, alias Rodge, from the Netherlands.

The 1st year (Jun 2004 - June 2005) to North- and South America,
the 2nd year (March 2006 - April 2007) to New Zealand, Australia and South and East Asia,
the 3rd (half) year (June 2007 - Dec 2007) to Tibet, Nepal, India and Southern and East Africa.

Most of the trip is done by public transport, but 5 parts are done bicycling, each part lasting a few months.

There is no sponsoring, no Photoshopping, no webmaster, no fancy equipment, no experience in travelling outside Europe, not a lot of preparation or a clear plan;
it is just Rodge, a pocket camera, a few cheap hybrid bikes, a lot of internetcafe's with Notepad and Word, a lot of Fanta, and a slowly decreasing bank account.
